Curving Text Around Image

I Know This Is Probably A Dumb ? , But I Cant Figure Out How To Contour You Text Around My Images. I'm New To Coreldraw And I Am Trying To Lern The Simple Things First, Or What I Thought Was Simple. Ha Ha Ha

2. go to text in the menu
3. go to fit text to path
4. place around object

Is the image a raster image or a vector image?

I Did An Auto Trace Through Corel So I Guess Its Vector

I Converted To Bitmap During Trace

Another way to do it..

Is to create the object first, and then select the text tool and place over the object you want to use. The text will automatically wrap itself. Then you can use the toolbar to adjust the settings.

Its A Jpg File. It Just Will Not Work . Does It Need To Be Converted To Something Else

It needs to be a vector object.

Another thing you could do would be to make the shape you want over top the jpg, apply the text to that object and make that object a no fill with no outline.
