Custom belt buckles?

This is for a logo client of mine who lives in Australia.
She is looking for a place to get imprinted metal belt buckles.
First off, does anyone know a supplier of these? And secondly, do you think a simple vector file would be what they needed?

All I know about them is that a guy I know who makes custom furniture has them make brass coins of his logo that he embeds on the backs of his pieces. The coins look sweet!
