Custom Board Game Mats?

I have a local game store customer wanting me to print some custom game mats. The generic ones he has in stock look to be printed on a luster banner material, but lays perfectly flat and very smooth.

Anyone printed up anything like this? What material did you use? TY

We have a customer who dye sub them on a mousepad material.
We have recently looked at direct UV printing them but they didnt like the color vs. the Dye Sub.

Ya sublimated I bet looks very nice.

Customer is wanting 3'x3', so it would take a mighty large heat press. Wish I had one though.

Direct print to 2-sided smooth banner material.
The blockout layer keeps it laying flat very nicely.
Try a different UV printer if color from first one sucked - could be a wealth of issues that caused that, though.
