custom printed fence slats: how to do them?

I've got a customer that want custom printed fence slats for is chain link fence. I've looked over the internet and found few shops doing them.

My question is how would you make this? What material? probably printed on a flatbed, them cut with cnc or something similar? I've attached a picture I've found on the net of what the customer is looking for.

Could you print on 4x8 sheets of coroplast and then use a coroplast cutter and make them in slits like that?

I would think cnc + flatbed or process very similar as well.

typically these are tubular plastic extrusions which are inserted into any type of chain link fence and woven through the links.

if you are going to start with a solid sheet and then cut it down, you will have to have have a flexible substrate.
maybe PVC or Sintra

I would check if the actual slats come in white, then set them up on flatbed and print away

I would also suggest thin pvc sheets and then rip them. I would suggest printing a very small part number at the top or bottom of every piece.
I would think otherwise getting them out of order might be a nightmare.

No real big hat trick to doing them... The privacy slats & clips (go along the bottom of the fence to keep them in place) can be purchased almost anywhere including home improvement stores like Home Depot & Lowes in plastic or aluminum, angled or straight for (depending on fence height and material) as little as $3-6 per foot of fence. Cut one into 3-4 pieces, weave it into the fence and measure the gap between them, lay them out on a flatbed with the same gap & print away. You can spray them with a coat of liquid lam or other clear-coat if desired to help prevent scratching when installing and for UV protection to give them more longevity.
