Custom Size Boards

We often need one board cut in a custom size out of a material that we can't easily cut at our shop - like 080 aluminum. Does anyone have a source for small quantity, custom size boards? Thanks for your help! - Marie

Grimco? minimum qty of 5 I think.

At our shop we use 3 or 6mm composite panel for any custom sizes.

If your shop has a table saw you can cut aluminum panels easily with that alone. You should be able to locate non-ferrous metal blades fairly easy for this, although even a fine tooth carbide blade will work fine. You just have to feed the aluminum slowly and although it's noisy, it works very well.

We have used Grimco in the past, but they have a $150 minimum now which isn't always practical. Also, thanks for the link. I'll check it out.
