well, since we are on the subject. How do you save your customer jobs?
say you do a 3x8 banner in flexi. do you safe it like that or do you shrink it? i'd like to know what is the proper way to save so i don't overdau my laptop which is still fairly new and almost paid off.
I save everything just the way it was created. My photoshop files are saved with all the layers still there, Illustrator and Flexi files just like they were designed. Like Si said, hard drives are cheap.
90% of the time I get crazy big files from designers.
90% of the time I tell them to save it as a full size tif, 96 dpi, lzw compression.
90% of the time I have to tell them twice.
