Customer Install

Had a laugh last night when I spotted a customers boat for which I had done a simple decal for him, which he installed himself.

From a distance it looked like the vinyl had burnt, very worryingly I had a closer look at it, thinking all horrible kinds of thoughts when I realised he hadn't taken the application tape off it!

Obviously that part wasnt self explanatory - it looked awful!!

Had a customer that did that with a full color window decal. He called several times complaining about how it was cut crooked and the color was horrible.

A couple of weeks had gone by from when he installed it until he started complaining and it had rained a couple of times on it. By that point it was too late, the sun and rain had caused the transfer tape to bond permanently to the vinyl and the glass.

Maybe they are the same kind of people who leave the plastic covers on sofas.

It must make the vinyl last longer, surely.
