Customer wants to cover Windows for temp.

I feel like I am always using the wrong material when printing full graphics for Windows while the store is under construction. Is there a standard material specifically so I'm not over doing it instead of banner material or poster paper?

I'd choose a material that is easy to install/remove and works well for the customer.
Something along the IJ35c or IJ40c depending on price.
It goes on easy with air release & comes off clean with removable adhesive.
C series of IJ has the gray glue to help with block out.
There is most likely another brand that is cheaper with the same performance - you need to look around - AirMark or something from BigFish (material merchant here).
You can find some dirt cheap crap vinyl but the problems you'll run into with install - staying up or not coming off without a mess will soon eat up any savings you might have counted on.

I've had very good luck with General Formulations Metro Mark. It prints beautifully on my HP26500 and applies easily although in hot sunlight is is a bit stretchy and should be pre-masked. The last job I did was up for 4 months and pulled off nicely without a bit of adhesive left behind.

We generally do poster paper and tape it in place. No sense doing a big ole install when these are just temp graphics. The price difference (for us) between adhesive vinyl and cheapo polypropylene and then installation of each is pretty significant.
