Cutting 6mm (1/4") ACM question

I have my first opportunity to work with 6mm Max-Metal ACM panels. We usually do a lot of 3mm panels but the 6mm is new to us. Our usual practice for cutting down 3mm sheets is a straight edge and utility knife. We score one side, bring it to the edge of the table and snap it right off clean. Can this be done with the thicker 6mm panels or would most people advise using a saw instead? I'm guessing if a knife will work, I will at least have to score both sides first. Thanks for any input.

I use a panel saw. Works great! Anything will cut ACM, easy to work with.

Curious, when you do the score-n-snap method, does that leave a truly clean edge, or do you have to sand it?

*FWIW - we use a DeWalt track saw to cut down most of our substrates.

If I make the cut past the aluminum and into the plastic it leaves a very clean edge. Seldom a need for finish sanding.
