Hi, just googled the machine, interesting device. I often have to remove the twist in aluminium strips when guillotining returns for fabricated letters. It's relatively simple to clamp one end of the strip in a vice and untwist the strip from the other end and it will untwist evenly. after a few tries you will get a feel for the amount of untwisting you need. It will work just as well with ACM.
Alternatively cut the strips on a panel or table saw.
