Not sure if this problem is from the plotter(GS15plus), the software(SignLab8), or the computer(hp media center PC w/4g ram).
here's what happens,
I have a file set up for print and cut 6 small decals with a contour cut. I open it in SignLab, hit Print/cut, go to Visual Production Manager, print it on the Edge, everything is fine so far.
Then when I go to cut it, it cuts the first decal contour and stops. the plotter starts a fast repeating beep. and the computer completely shuts done and reboots.
Then when I open Signlab the plotter is no longer listed in the print/cut preview screen. instead it's CADlink fastboard.
The plotter will cut it's test patterns fine. I don't think it's a physical problem with plotter. Maybe something could be wrong with the communication back and forth? but I've never had any problem that causes an immediate reboot instead of a freeze.
Any ideas?
thanks
