cutting beveled edges on komatex

I have signs that need to be made with beveled edges. Is there a certain technique to cutting these with a knife? Or what equipment does everyone use? I tried purchasing a mat type cutter and it was so hard to use.

Depends on how big a bevel, but my choice would be a router table (not cnc) with a suitable bit.

I've beveled edges with hand held routers, hand block planes, belt sanders and radial arm saws. One of the easiest edge treatments there are.
