Cutting coro on a router

Deaton Design

New Member
Any of you router owners ever cut coroplast on your router?
I have an idea for some Christmas ornaments, and need something light for backing. They will be shaped, not just square or round, etc.
I was just wondering if it will cut well on the router.
I have a guy who does all my cutting, and he has never cut it before, but is willing to if I need it done.
Thanks!

John,
Have your router guy try a Belin 13635A at 9-10,000 rpm at 1.5 - 2 ips. Vac and spoilboard must be in good shape.

You need a brand spanking new bit, otherwise you get frizzies all around. And I find that the older the sheet, the better it cuts...
