This may be a dumb question or I'm over looking the obvious but I would like to know how to cut something in half in cs3.

I have a cirlce that I made with the circle tool..now I need that to be cut in half and have the "npw exposed" cut ends become part of the path.

I am experimentig at making a sign and I want the circle cut in half so I can posistion it better on the vinyl along with other things I am printing.

any help would be cool

I just us pathfinder and have subtract half of it. This way my pathfinder tool
window is always open and I can use it for the next object. I think I use
pathfinder about 90% of the time when working in illustrator, you can make
just about anything with it and a few simple shapes!
