Cutting Perforated Window Film on Summa

Hey Guys.

Does anyone have experience cutting perforated window film on a summa? I currently use a Roland to do this. The Roland has large registration marks where the summa's are 2mm. I'm worried the registration points will become lost to the summa since they are so small. Anyone with real world experience with this? Just to clarify, this is a print/lam/cut operation.

Thanks,
Nick

I've had a similar issue, although not with a summa. I just printed a 'trash' file with registration marks on plain white vinyl, cut them off, and overlaid them on the perf, lined up with the reg marks already printed. It worked fine, but you really have to make sure they're aligned perfectly. You might try with just what prints on the perf first and see what happens..
