Cutting prismatic vinyl

First post on here,
At our shop we have found with the 3M 3200 EGP, 3930 HIP, and 4000 DP that if you cut through the backing side you may have more success. Plotter blade and down pressure is also pretty key. If you have a Tangential cutter that can help you quite a bit as well, but 3M recommends a Flatbed for their prismatic stuff, Hopefully that helps you out a bit.

I find that its damn near impossible to get a good result cutting prizmatic on our roll fed summa tangential cutter. I've used different types of blades experimenting. For me the problem is the force required to cut through the material creates to much drag which after a bit of cutting will end up skewing the media. Anyways I can do it but I never like the result.

I gave up, I tried it on our Roland and our old Gerber and have never gotten good results.
