Cyan looks geen

We have had this printer a short time, and I am still clueless. Roland sp-540v. Wont the printer tell me if it were out of ink? How come 100 cyan looks greenish black? And 20 % black has a pink hue? Clueless.... What search terms would i use to find threads that cover this....? Any help appreciated

sounds like ink contamination...yellow in your cyan, magenta in your black?

OK I'll search ink contamination.... How do you fix that?

usually due to puffed-up sponges in the caps, or 1 ink cart empty creates a negative vaccuum of sorts

Ok I found a thread that ran me through. Thanks for your help. After a medium clean and a couple test prints, the colors look better. also the thread said to print something everyday to maintain the printer
