D75 Cant find first crop mark

No idea why but with lamination my D75 will not find the first mark with lamination . If I cut lamination off from the area it will read fine . It will also read all other 8 or 10 marks WITH lamination on it .

So why does it read all OPOS marks with lamination but the first one ?

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
Most likely it has to do with some small difference in reflected light when attempting to read that particular mark. Or not. How's that for egregious equivocation?
