Is it common for the dampers to go bad around the same time? We changed out a cyan a couple of days ago, now the other one's acting like it needs changed.

I am no expert in this, but for the small investment involved to replace a {or any} damper in your BIG DOLLAR printer it seems prudent to me to change them ALL on a regular maintenance schedule. Much cheaper than damaging a print head.
