Dampers on a Valuejet

Hey folks, anyone ever replaced dampers on a Valuejet? I am going to attempt soon and ANY tips or tricks would be appreciated.

The hold down can be a pain to fish in and out.
But with your experience on Falcons, should be easy.

Well one part that trips me a little is the Falcon was it had an external waste ink bottle... easy access for a syringe. However, not so with the ValueJet.

Flame, what's your reason for replacing them? So I know when I should do mine. Doing a cap top next week.

I normally just run a little charge to fill dampers..

There are two small drain lines on the cap, you can y connect to both or clamp one off and syringe from the other, if you are just trying to fill the new dampers.

It's too easy, you will see what I mean once you get started... Can be done in under 10 minutes...
