Dark Bands

I am printing double strike onto Oracal 3850 Translucent material on my sp540v. I have dark bands in my lighter colors every 3.5". Seems like a heat setting issue but the consistent frequency kinda has me looking other places. Does anyone print on this stuff and what are your recommended settings. I know every printer prints differently but just looking for suggestions. Thanks a bunch!

Don't know what RIP you use but it is better to process first and then send to printer so RIP does not slow down and then speed up as information is sent to the printer.
