datacolor dtx file??????

Is anyone familiar with these type of files? Do you have the ability to convert the colors to rgb?

It sounds like one of the camera / video formats. They're generally propriatary to the equiment / software, but the onwer of it should be able to output a Tiff.

I really know nothing about this, I'm posting this to help out a friend. He has been sent this file and they are trying to match thread colors for embroidery. I thinks it's part of system similar to pantone color matching or a color library. he just wants to cross it over to approximate RGB match. Used more for fabric dyeing, paint mixing and such. www.datacolor.com

If you google QTX it says it's a apple quicktime thing, but that's not what this is.
