I want to get into the graphics business doing motorsports graphics and I have found a GS6000 that has been repossessed and could possibly pick it up cheap. They said it has been sitting for months and the ink was never flushed out, so what kind of headache am I looking at as well as possible expense?
Second, I doubt it comes with any software, so is software available?

I also have a buddy that wants to get out of his operation and could pick up all of his equipment for around $32K. Mutoh 1614 printer, Seal Pro S laminator with all the options and a Graphtec plotter, all 64" models. Also would get the rip computer and some misc software/artwork, all tables, cutters, etc.
He purchased them from Fellers about 3 years ago.
Thoughts/suggestions?
Thanks for your help and I'm glad to be aboard!

no go on both. the epson will more than likely need new heads, dampers, lines, etc. a good rip can run you up to $4k.

your buddies stuff can be had at a much lower price.

WELCOME!

If you have to ask... NOTHING that is CHEAP is good.

Seems like your "buddy" wants to recoup most of his initial investment.

If you have that kind of loot, buy new.

You might also want to ask him why he's getting out..
