Decal for a transmission case?

showcase 66

I have a client that does performance transmissions and he wants to get some decals to put on the case after he rebuilds them.

He has seen them before but I am concerned with heat being generated. May not even be a real concern in reality.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Well if they can handle that stress(in the form of heat) that a sled pulling or racing diesel will put on it, I would say you are alright. Diesels with stouter TCs (if auto) will generate quite a bit of heat compared to a higher performance street truck. Those trucks usually put a lot more stress on trannies then similiar equipped lighter vehicles.

Diesel performance is one of my many costly hobbies. I have a 508HP 6.0L PSD DRW (that RWHP, all 4 of them, on a load baring dyno).
