Designing 50%, How to RIP?

We designed a large box truck at 50 percent in Illustrator, since we could not make the art board large enough.

Now I need to bring it into Caldera.

Do I bring it into RIP at 50 percent and print at 200%?

Bring into Photoshop, try to maintain vectors, re-size and save as pdf?

What is the best way to maintain the best overall quality?

The few times I have had to design something at a smaller scale, I just up the percentage in the rip and let it go. Never had any issues at all.
