diagonal selection

Is there a way to do a diagonal selection in Flexi? The 5.x series could do it
but it seems to have disappeared about 6.x- or am I missing yet another
obvious feature. Thanks Gene

If by 'diagonal selection' you mean marquee selection it has never gone away. Just hold the mouse button and drag.

But...in Preferences->Tools->Select Tool you can specify whether an object is selected by touching it with the marquee or completely enclosing it within the marquee.

If you mean something else by 'diagonal selection' then never mind.

No- I mean dragging a diagonal selection- use to be able to in F5- can't figure
out how to in F7. Gene

It used to be "hold control and drag the 45 degree angled selection box"

No longer works on mine either (Flex8) I'm not sure if they even have it any more.
