Is there a font that would give the symbols for the dictionary pronunciation fonts?

It may be faster just making the symbols up but was just wondering.

I'm using illustrator, photoshop or flexi.

in illustrator you could just use the glyphs. under the type menu>glyphs and select away. some fonts have many subset characters, alternates and ligatures

or the character map under program files>accessories>system tools
