Did I Pooch This?

I just printed 5' print on my SP300V with reg. marks to cut after laminating.
Using Flexi Plus with Production Manager
I then proceeded to move a bunch of things around and did not save it the way I printed it.
Does anyone know if I can revert back somehow to save the prints? Or did I just make some paint drop cloths?

Can you remember what you had the page width set at? Also it may not matter if it reads the crop marks and uses that space it reads. However on my file I had it set to print the file in the middle and not just start at the right edge.

I just finished some decals laminated and then cut and kind of did the same thing. I did not write down the info but I did remember the page width was 22.6.

All worked fine by just re loading the file set for cut only and even after the printer read the crop marks and came back with a 22.1 page width it still worked. However I have no idea why, but I went to do the second set of decals and just sent the file again and it beeped and said sheet too short. Tried to just contine but it cut in a totaly wrong spot. Tried 4 times before I decided to just load the file again and set all as I had done the first time and low and behold, it worked fine for the second sheet.

No idea why just sending the file a second time messed things up.
May have something to do with centering the file.

Hey just a thought.

Take the cutter tool out and run the file as if you were going to cut and see where the cutter goes. If it looks off you saved your print right there.

I closed the program since, so control Z will not work.
Does Cont. Z have an infinate number off undos? If so that would have worked.

If you moved a bunch of things, then why do you want the original prints?

Anyways, Production manager should have saved it waiting to contiour cut it.
Double click that time stamp / file.

How complicated is the printed artwork?
Could you break out the Xacto and freehand the contours?
We hand cut a good deal of stuff here.

another thing I do here is waste $50 worth of time trying to get out of using $25 worth of material to fix an issue like that with no wasted time...

don't ask me why I do that, because I don't know... but I don't recommend it!

Amen to that. A attempt at a quick fix from a combined 8,000 or so years of experience here, or fold it up and throw it out. Once it's in the garbage the remorse is over.
It's a $1,200 job, so the $10 in waste is not so bad (if it doesn't start compounding)

Under edit then down to preferences, you set up to 999 undo's. Luckily I have never used that many but always good to have to much then not enough.

as was posted....If you sent the job to print with contour cuts, then the cut file should be in the production manager waiting for you to select it to cut.
Thats how mine works anyways, but I run a Mimaki.... should be the same I would think

I think mine is set to delete after printing in prod. manager
I will go adjust the undo quantity and the save option for next time.
Thanks for all the help.
