Die Cutting / Perf Cutting XC-540

I'm sure this is much simpler then my fried brain is making it right now...

How can I cut through the backing paper too, with my SolJet Pro III XC-540.

I've read through different forums and some state to use the perfcut function in VersaWorks, but I'm not finding that option.

Any suggestions?

Using FlexiSign 8.5 or Illustrator CS5.

Define a spot color called PerfCutContour. Use that like you would the CutContour except to specify where you want the machine to cut all the way through the backing.

Thank you... I guess it helps if I was spelling contour right in Illy.
