Digital Junk

Anyone out there have a issue with "digital junk" coming out when printing? Every once in a while we will get a print that is missing a small area (less then 1 square inch) in the design after it has been sent to the flatbed. Just wondering if anyone out there has this happen and what, if anything you do to work around it.

what Rip are you using?

I have the same issue with Wasatch., but only when I fil ehas been designed in InDesign and saved as a PDF

We're using Production house and I still have issues with Indesign files, but it;s mostly Bounding boxes around Text and drop shadows.

Have you tried saving the files as different types?
