Digital Prints on Primed MDO

Should I be able to lay digitial prints directly on Primed MDO and be ok? Or do I need to order a pre-painted MDO (or paint it myself) before installing digital prints?

I would go with painted

As Jhill suggested, go with a painted surface. I made that mistake a few years ago.

Either pre-painted or give the primed board a top coat or two. Vinyl should have as smooth of a surface to get a good adhesion for best results.... especially long lasting installations.
