I'm having issues printing direct to a backlit material (blitsol) with my Colorado 1650. Every time we print on the backlit material and shine the light behind it it looks washed out. Does it need to be double hit like I've seen on some other posts? Do I need to print a layer of white behind it to avoid wash out? Anybody have any experience printing backlit material with a 1650?

Canon has a profile for ONYX, but I'm running caldera, and caldera doesn't seem to have any profiles for 1650

Is the Image/WL/Image standard even when the substrate isn't clear? The blitsol is a translucent white.

image > white layer > image is standard, even on white trans. unless you want to make the panel the white layer and print images on either-side of the substrate, but that would require alignment when you flip the panel.

I'm aware of that, but I have other machines that do.
I appreciate this, thank you. Caldera worked with us and we were connected with someone who has created profiles and sent us some that worked, without white. Thanks for the replies everyone!
