So I created a document in PS Cs3 at 8.625 - 11.125 and for some reason, ps automatically takes it to 8.627 - 11.127. I even tried 4overs templates which is 8.625 - 11.125, and it still happens!
What gives?

never had that happen but with some messing around i duplicated your problem by changing 'postScript (72 points / inch)' to 'traditional (72.27 points / inch)'. thinking it should be on 72 points / inch.

after doing that it was stuck for me too at 8.627 x 11.127??? :banghead:

i got it back to normal by going file / new document / changed the pulldown tab to 'default photoshop size' which was like 5 x 7 or something like that. closed that file without saving.

from there on out 8.625 x 11.125 worked fine.

i should have mentioned i did the change in psd prefs / units & rulers / set it to 'postScript (72 points / inch)' (in cs1 - but should be the same)

you may want to quit psd and relaunch.

i was able to recreate the prob. again by changing the preset to 'traditional (72.27 points / inch)' so it has to be something w/ that pref. button.

after changing it back to 'postScript (72 points / inch)' it still screwed up for me a few times until i mad a few new docs using the 'default photoshop size pulldown'.

give it a few more trys - and good luck!
