Does ANYONE have Mimakie JV33 Head replacement instructions?

In the "JV33 Bible" it just says refer to videos, but I can't find anyone who even knows these exist. It seems simple to me, but I am not going to attempt it without the directions. I have the head sitting here, and I'm trying to decide rather to pay to have the tech come and do it, or do it myself. A $1,000 bill for only a 90 day warranty doesn't seem worth the tech to me, and I'm fairly comfortable around the machine, so with a little direction, I'm pretty sure I could do it. Anyone have the PDF's or anything anywhere?

Its complicated. It was made using some obscure Japanese program (i.ADiCA) for video training and is comprised largely of a massive amount of javascript files and html and it does not work properly in a browser. As is it is, it is not really useable. I've tried to find a way to make it work in the past but from what I can tell the company that makes the authoring software that it was made with has discontinued the program and it required a specific type of server or viewer for it to work properly.....

I'll take another jab at it and see if I can make it work. The video files by themselves can be viewed but there is no instruction that way. There is also no sound that I can determine although some of the javascript files are audio loaders of some sort.

Could you please answer me for these two questions. First In mimaki printer there are two fuses in power board... Do you know where is the place and what shapes of another fuse in another boards maybe
Secondly :what is the main task of cap top of printhead and when we have to change it (not cap station)

I saw the grimco video...just seems like it's really short and probably missing some key details. If it had audio I'd trust it slightly more. I guess I just pay the tech to come do it and observe him. Maybe I should set up a gopro in the corner and record his moves.

Head replacement

i am confused. fuses on a JV33?
1. i turned off the power
2. i removed the cover.
3. i pulled the cap stations and wrapped the each in a paper towel and faced them up.
4. i umplugged the first big wire cable. then the other.
5. i removed the two phillip screws.

Since the old head was "lined up", but damaged, i installed in the reverse.

i few head cleanings and everything worked.
i even bought and replaced all the caps. the hard part was getting all the air out of the lines.
i even removed the head platen and vaccummed all the fans. VERY important. i posted a thread about that..

I second vacuuming out under the platen. After reading your thread on that I went ahead with my project of covering the heat platens with anti-static carbon impregnated Teflon fabric and cleaned mine out in the process. Surprised much air was still getting through!!! Completely removing the platens is a bit more of an involved project. To just clean under them is even a bit tricky but you can just disconnect the wires on one end and leave it tilted sort of propped up on the end screw at the other end and get under there well enough.

There are some tiny surface mount fuses on the mainboard but I have no idea where. As far as the capping top - that is what provides the seal to the bottom of the head so the pump can provide negative pressure for the ink system.
