Does anyone know what font this is?

I have a few that go close but would need to see more letters. I think that piece has been deliberately cut out of the "B".

 

I come up without an exact match and suspect someone has tinkered with it.


It is definitely a Slab Serif but not in any of my books or databases. The closest I can come are something that started out as Egyptian or Egyptienne. See examples:

 

Another thing that threw me Fred was that the bottom of the "U" seems flat. Isn't it funny that in the old days it didn't matter but now we have computers everything has to be perfect!!

The "U" was a letter I ran on its own against my database and there was no match at all. My conclusion is that it has been modified .... and not for the better I might add.

 

it's dated 4 sure being flat make it easy to lay n letter done may be ugly but easy to do with space maybe to read
