Does anyone recognize this mounting system?

I need to either find a mounting system like the one attached, or I'm going to have to fabricate one. I've never seen one like this, and neither has another guy in the shop...and we have been at this about 60 years combined...




Anyone have any ideas?

I've seen similar but not that one. And I think the one's I've run into were custom fab. That base cover is the one thing that looks like it was purchased.

Looks like parts from a stair rail system got modified and pressed into service.

Look up wrought iron balusters and shoes.
