Does your webpage say "Not Secure"? It is very important to check.

Just in the last few days, I have seen so many sign shop webpages that say, "Not Secure" in their url.
That is not my field of expertise, but I do know that it is extremely important to get that cleared up.

I just had this happen to me. In my case the warning was given because of "mixed content" on my website. Mixed content simply means that there is an image being displayed on a page that is hard coded http:// instead of https://. I had seven such images on two pages that were setup six years ago. Once corrected, the warning disappeared.

There is a free utility named HTTPS Checker available for download that will find such links by crawling your entire site in just a few minutes.

Looking ahead, the next thing that will evidently be targeted in the same way will be the use of "www" in any link. It's all part of a major effort to eliminate exploits being used by bad actors.

Thanks for pointing out this issue Robert.

For those that don't have the certs, I highly recommend finding a way to use Let's Encrypt. I use it on all the websites I work on, it's automated (once it's setup properly), and it's free.

Common issue with WordPress sites as there's a user login on the frontend.
Luckily these days all WordPress hosting sites offer SSL certificates.
or Let's Encrypt is brilliant if your hosting doesn't offer an SSL as a few have said.
