Doubled heads?

On my Sc-545EX Roland I am going through service mode and there is setting "Doubled Heads". I have an option to choose Heads 5&6 or Heads 1&2. I dont have an idea what does it mean. I am running CMYK and I am not using heads 5&6. There is nothing in service manual or user manual. Does anybody know what is it. Thanks

I think that printer can use white and that would be for where you want the white ink. Sounds like white needs two spots.

Do a google search on ink set for that printer and you should find some info.

If the printer is configured CMYKLcLm, then all the printheads are going to print. If it's configured CMYKCM, then when you are printing in high speed or Billboard, all the heads are fireing. If you print standard or high quality, then anly the selected heads will print. In your case, 1&2.
