My Comcast has always seemed slow to me. Using the links above, I now know what my speeds are but how do I know what they are supposed to be for my area (in the boonies)?

OP, stop using an ISP based email address. Problem solved. Use gmail at the very least. If you use it for business, buy a domain/hosting and use that. Using a non-branded email address is like screaming I'M OLD THE INTERNET SCARES ME.

To answer you question about the sbcglobal.net email address. No you wont be able to use it, they will turn it off 30 days after you end your service. I jst dumped them myself and went with commspeed.

for what is worth, i dumped dsl, im still able to access my sbcglobal account
