Dumb Question

I am trying to figure out how to put cut lines around a object to make wall art, like fatheads. I just got flexi, and my printer, and can't seem to figure it out. Or is there a way to put my cut lines in photoshop before taking to flexi to print?

Just make a vector line where you want to cut. Cutters only cut vectors.

I assume you mean to do some sort of contour cutting. In Flexi Pro v7 and up there are two ways...

1. Select the object to be contour cut then do Effects->Contour

2. Create a path that you want to cut, select that path, and do Arrange->Contour->Make Contour Cut.

There is a third way as well, setting your own path and your own manual registration marks. This is simple to do but rather lengthy to describe and already has been explained in these waters. Do a search.

or us cocut pro and let it set the contour outline for you..

no cut lines in photoshop... and on a photo you would probaly have to draw the cut lines yourself. the cut lines have to be vectors and could be drawn in flexi. import your art into flexi and use the vector path tools to draw the line you want .

Thanks guys... I will try the suggestions and see if I can get it to work
