Dust under prints problem..

When I lay digital vinyl on aluminum there is so much static from the vinyl that it like draws dust in between the print and the aluminum, which results in a 'bubbly' looking finish. Anyone ever had this problem? any solutions??

Haven't looked into that, I use a swiffer duster, but it doesn't cut it

Yeah, whole shop is carpeted, which I realize is a big problem...trying to work around it until we move at the end of the year

I'm sure this device works, but holy crap $165.00? Looks like something we will all find in the dollar store soon lol...


I use a tac cloth and also just a hand held wiper...yes from the dollar store and it works great. I blow compresses air through it and that gives it a static charge.

we keep the humidity high in our mounting area to keep static and dust down. we also use one of the silicone rollers and an adhesive cleaning pad for it.
