Easymount speed question

I am trying to see if their is an issue with to what speed you should laminate vinyl graphics.
I am having some issues but no where in the manual does it state how fast it should run.
Can someone please help?

I have a cold laminator, and I find faster = more silvering. When I go slow, there is no silvering.

My Easymont EM-1600SH is a heated laminator.
We have had some issues when running this machine slow.
I was just wondering whether their is a recommended speed to use.
