Eco sol ink on 540i?

Can i use "Eco Sol" ink on my sp540i machine instead of "Eco Sol MAX"? Thanks!

What kind of "Eco-Sol"? Who's the producer?

producer is from Roland original ink.

That ink is very, very old. It is the previous generation and I would not use it at this point.

Would not sue it because it's old? or because it is not compatible?

Eco Sol

That was the first generation ink for Roland solvent printers. it required you to print on to Roland Eco Sol (coated materials)
So unless you have coated material, don't use it.

Robert is correct. The performance on most materials will not be as good. Also, if it mixes with Max in your lines, it will cause problems. Finally, your printer will not even recognize the cartridge since it was long discontinued by the time the 540i came out.
