EDGE 2 ON fLEXI 8.6

Hello all,

Been running my edge2 on omega 1.5 since 2000 computer just died on me
Upgraded to a new computer win7 pro and 1.5 will not work on it. I have an old version
of Flexi 8.6 which loads on the computer fine. Is anyone using Flexi to run their edge?
If so how does it work for you?

Ver 1.5 won't run on Win 7 and Gerber won't even talk to you.
Does your edge use a parallel port ? I'd be willing to bet the new computer doesn't have one
I think there's going to be a bit of a learning curve to use flexi.

I think you would be better off finding a used computer with XP or something lower from Ebay
and continue to use the Gerber software.

i Use flexi to run my edge 1....but I've never used omega.....so I don't know what I'm missing...ive gotten pretty good with flexi but I learn as I go....I also use a USB to parallel adapter. my computer does't have a parallel port...
