EdgeFX Printing on Clear for Backlit?

We have an EdgeFX & I are planning on using it to print graphics for a local pizza joint. The rooftop cans are a translucent white material, so I was going to Edge onto 3M Imagecast Clear.

My question is - for the best colors, do I use the "trans red" or regular "red" for backlit applications?

We normally use the solvent printer for backlit signage & the edge for solid printing (trans colors over reflective); I've never tried to use the Edge for backlit jobs.

The transparent colors will work the best. Spot colors are opaque enough that they will darken when backlit. You may find that you need a double hit to look best when backlit.
