We have a chip decoder on the right ribbon trailing cable connector on the main board (as per instructions), the chip decoder feels a tight fit, when you push down the small plastic 'grippers' that hold the ribbon (or in our case chip decoder) you have to push hard to get them to clamp down.
At the start of every day (and sometimes during the day) we need to re-seat the chip decoder - releasing the tiny plastic 'grippers/clamps', otherwise the printer will not run (pressing 'prime' will tell us if the decoder is seated properly).
Has any body else had this issue ? I feel the tight fit is distorting the socket on the PWA main board it fits into, after a few hours of pressing down the clamps.
