Hi everyone
After hours of searching ive found my fault.
I have a split encoder strip, question is how difficult is this to replace.
Also how much is it going to cost, printer is mimaki JV3 160SP.
Im able to fool the media sensor on the back so i can still print
but its only a matter of time before the split moves. Any help would
be great .
many thanks

I've replaced the strip on my Roland and it's about $210 I believe. Fairly easy to replace. But that's the Roland.

Print all
its easy,

one side has the tension spring and one screw, just make sure you fit the strip in the guides along the rail....

There are many copy encoder strip, price is very competitive like $35~$50.
They are work well, I did not think it is necessary to use original encoder strip and pay more than $200.
But looks you did not know the JV3 printer well, you may need technician to change the parts.
