EPSON 50670 Error 1138 HELP!

The pile Epson calls a printer is acting up once again.

The first set of capping stations is raised up to the point of not letting the carriage return all the way back. Error code 1138.
Epson left me on hold till they closed and the heads are not seated. WTF?

Could use some help in diagnosing the problem and if possible a quick fix till contact with epson.
