epson 9600 printhead pools then releases ink on media

My Epson 9600 has a new printhead and new mainboard.
When printing it seems as the ink pools in the printhead then release leaving a huge mess on the media? ANy thoughts from anyone?
Eg. printing large document 48"by36" it will print half of it perfect then sudden release of all colors in large amounts.

It did not do this prior to my mainboard replacement.

Yes I sure do. Its very random too.

Hmm, it looks electrical to me. Check the seating of the ribbon cable from the board to the head. Since it's not consistent, it could just be a little loose.
