CHANGE MAINTENANCE, WIPER, PAD, ETC...NOW DOES CLEANING ERROR 1412 TO SHUT DOWN. NOT SURE IF ITS WIPER DOING IT BUT DONT SEE ANYTHING WRAONG

Firsty you 'd better clean it right because it's kind of dirty here then search the error code on the web, should find some clues

I would clean that completely and see if the code goes away.. That printer is filthy.

In my error code book

1412: "Ink system error, Pump, Pump Life error; The number of pump counter has reached the specific upper limit. (pump motor's life (ink system unit's life)) Replace ink system unit and clear counter using the service program."

If it is using EPSON firmware you will need the adjustment program which EPSON supplies to us service centers.....there are bootleg copies on ebay

The pump cap assy is around $275 if you want to be proactive and replace, they do wear out, unlike many of the other parts that may come up as to be replaced
